JPOI denims

I gathered all pictures and files showing how my works and designs in denim evolved over the years.
From being a finalist in Mega Magazine's Young Designers Competition 6th edition in 2004,I used denim as the main fabric/element to my entry. The theme was "Fashion Refashioned",reworking old clothes and stuff and making new pieces out of it.The experience can't explain how lucky and fortunate we were as finalists from over hundreds of applicants. We were given the chance to show the fashion industry who we are and what we're capable of doing as a designer.Mega Magazine gave us the 15 minutes of fame on the runway that night and an experience we'll cherish for a lifetime. They have been producing and discovering great talents since 1994 until now.And being one of them, I'm truly honored. This event opened doors not only for me but my fellow finalists.

In 2006 I made a collection of denim wear for men & women. The items were sold at GRAXIE store by Reian Mata.(Powerplantmall,Rockwell).She invited me to join her by selling my denims at GRAXIE.She saw the potential of my works and it went well having it featured in magazines, newspapers, blogs and tv shows.I started with 20-25 items for the 1st collection and decided to name it 5378 by JPOI.Then same year it was followed with a launch at the embassy quisine supported by designer friends John Herrera and Ferdie Abuel providing tops to match with my jeans.
I had my press photos taken by Frank Heofsmit, hair and make-up by Jonathan Velasco and shoes from Marc Ecko & Pony.A special avp was made by Patrick Mabanta of Media Magus for the launch.
